So Wargaming kinda blindsided me with the release of the STG Guard. Wasnt expecting it to come out this soon. I'll have a skin removal for the Guard version (and even a semi-remodel for the normal version) some time this weekend...
I also have some tentative plans for a Centurion Action X and Centurion Mk. 1 remodel. After those, I dont know what I'll do... but Im sure I'll come up with something... ~ Avalon304

It's 9.20 patch day, which means everything gets an update!
Ive given all of my skins a cursory check to make sure that they all work. So far they do, but if there are any issues, please let me know (either here in the comments or over on the NA forums, in my thread). This also means the two things I previewed a couple days ago have also been released. The Charioteer and the ISU-152 are both live on the site now. If there are issues again, let me know. Thats about it for now. Nothing huge to reveal... but theres stuff in the works. Tace care guys, and see you on the battlefield. ~ Avalon304 So the site has seen a pretty big overhaul over the past day or so. Starting in the upper left with a new logo, kindly designed by FastestClassic. The logo depicts a Centurion Mk. 7/1, and takes some inspiration from the logo of 'The Tank Museum'. Fastest is a wonderful skinner and remodeler. You should check out his site: classicswotworkshop.weebly.com/ If you notice a lot of similarity between my site and his its not a coincidence. Ive taken quite a lot of inspiration from his page. I like the clean style. (Plus we both use the Weebly platform... so there's bound to be a lot of similarity anyway). Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right?
The navigation menus now move as you scroll down the page, meaning you'll no longer need to use the 'Back to Top' feature to navigate around. That'll stick around though, just in case. Speaking of the navigation menus, the 'Permaskin Removals', 'Misc. Skins' and 'Remodels' pages are gone, having been replaced with dropdown menus. This has let me give each skin or remodel its own dedicated page, meaning you'll no longer have to scroll endlessly to find the skin you want (or use 'Ctrl+F'). It also lets me segment out skins for the same tank or that are for a group of tanks (like the leKPz M41 90mm or Berlin Quartet), or segment out skins based on nation. Beyond those major changes, the header for the home page displays 'Thunderbolt' and my social icons are still there (Twitter, Twitch and Youtube). The header on a skin page currently display a colour representative of the nation that that tank is for. I may change this to an image of the skin in action. (If anyone uses these skins and wants to help, cool screenshots without the UI are appreciated). In non site related news, I'll have another post up sometime this weekend detailing whats coming for patch 9.20. Theres a skin (that Ive already talked about) and a remodel (that I really havent). Also, Ive added a new addon to the Primo Victoria skin removal. Ive replaced the crew with standard Swedish crewmen, the Band of Brothers icon with the standard Brothers in Arms icon and the Sabaton voice with the standard Swedish voices. If there are issues with the voices, please let me know. I dont own the tank, so I cant check it. I think that covers everything. If not I'll include it in my next post. Take care guys, and see you on the battlefield. ~ Avalon Hey guys! Avalon304 here. I just finished setting up this website. I think it'll be much easier to keep this place updated than it will be to keep the OP of my thread updated.
This is the blog section. I doubt I'll use it much... but its here if I need it. If I do use this space it'll be to post previews of any remodels I'm working on, and maybe even some thoughts about new tanks that are coming out, and World of Tanks as a whole. As it is right now the site has 4 pages: the Blog, the Permaskin Removals page, the Remodels page and a Misc. Skin page. All my skins are listed in their respective pages. You can use the menu in the upper right hand corner to navigate between the pages, and use your browsers 'Find' feature (typically Ctrl+F) to find the skin youre interested in. If you want to request a simple skin or remodel you can do so over in my thread on the World of Tanks NA forums. Please keep in mine that I reserve the right to say no to any request, so please dont take it personally if I say no to you. If you want to know more about me, or find me elsewhere on the internet you can use the social icons (either in the header above or in the navigation menu) to find me on Twitter, Twitch.tv or Youtube. Anyway, I think that thats all this post needs. See you on the battlefield. ~ Avalon304 |
