Hey guys! I have some more updates for you. 1 new remodel, 1 repurposed remodel and more skins moved to the wotmod format. First up is the Tiger I 'Jager'. Jager started as a simple model to restore the fenders and lower glacis tracks on the Tiger I. Then I added the bicycle from the VK 168.01. Then I added the smoke launchers from Tiger 131. I also removed the barbed wire from the log, because it looked super ugly. Its pretty simple, but I think it makes the Tiger look much nicer. If WG gives other german tanks more things that I can steal and add to it, I probably will... You can find the Jager on WGMods nowm, you can get there via this tanks page in the Remodels menu above. The next thing up is also pretty simple. Its a repurposing of the Rebored M32 gun from the leKpz M 41 90mm GF permaskin removal. Just changes the muzzlebrake on the normal leKpz M 41 90mm from the default one to the more american looking T-shaped muzzlebrake. No more, no less (for now). Yes... that means I may give this tank a remodel... no I dont know what that entails yet... its just a possibility. The new gun is available on WGMods now and a link directly to it can be found in this tanks page in the Remodels menu above.
The final updates for today are that Ive moved the first 3 permaskin removals over to the .wotmod format. This means the M46 Patton KR, Panzer 58 Mutz and Skorpion G are now on WGMods and each of their existing page here on the blog have been updated with links directly to their page on WGMods. Thats it for now. Upcoming is still the Firefly remodel that Ive talked about as well as a remodel for the Obj. 277, potentially. Im not too happy with it currently, so I may scrap it and start from scratch... I dont know. The next skins to make the move over to .wotmod files will be atleast 2 of the 3 leKpz M 41 90mm GF removals (I may retire the Olive Drab version of the skin removal), the Berlin Quartet removals, the IS-7 with raised machine gun and the T26E1-1 Super Pershing remodels. Thats all for now! Take care and see you on the battlefield! ~ Avalon304

Its been over a month since my last update. Since the first news of the Australian Centurion was "leaked". Since thing Ive been hard ard work, planning and finally remodeling the Mk. 5/1. And shes ready tonight. This is 'Talisman', a British Centurion Mk. 5/1 LR (Long Range). She gains a few extra bits, including her proper sideskirts. .50 caliber machine guns for the TC and loader. Proper headlights. And the ever important tea kettle. You can find 'Talisman' linked above, alongside the rest of the remodels in the 'World of Tanks' menu.
More importantly, what does this mean for the other Centurions? Eventually, all of my Centurions, barring 'Dreadnought' will get the improved mantlet canvas. 'Victoria', 'Thunderbolt' and 'Dreadnought' will probably get the LR fuel tank, rather than improvised tank they currently have. These changes will trickle out over the coming months, alongside other remodels (I current have a Tiger I and Firefly remodel in the planning stages). Thats all for now. Take care, and see you on the battlefield. ~Avalon304 A couple of new updates today. The first is a new remodel, for one of the most stand out tanks Ive played in a while: the T-44-100. Named 'Hunter' this updated T-44-100 includes a new gun, some spiffy headlights, a larger gun for the TC, improved vision devices a log and an accordian! As you can see it also fully supports the paint system as well. The other update is a significant change to the Strv 81-Mk. 5. By significant I mean I've repainted her in British Tan. She will now be known as the Centurion Mk. 5 'Victoria'. Like any British lady its important to appear your best, so theres also an addon that readds the sideskirts back to the tank. For those of you who prefer the Swedish green dont update, nothing has changed. If you want the side skirts, you can just install the addon and everything should work in place, even if youre keeping the Swedish green.
I also pushed a minor update through for 'Thunderbolt', but it was just the removal of a superfluous texture file, nothing changed with the model itself. On the World of Warship's front I pushed an update for the MS22 camo pack that updated the pack for changes made to the camouflages.xml in 0.7.3. Please update if youre experencing issues with camos in the game. And how about that new Centurion premium? Im pretty excited to get a Mk. 5/1 LR Centurion from the RAAC. Cant wait. My 'Thunderbolt' crew hates the 4202. Expect to see model updates when that comes out as well, as it adds some nicer mantlet canvas and a better fuel tank. Take care! ~ Avalon304 Well, it took a couple of extra days but the Conway remodel is finished and everything is working perfectly. If you stopped by the live stream on Monday, you saw about 90% of her built and working in WoT. I fixed the remaining 10% over he past 2 days and got it fully working. Her page is now live up in the remodels menu. More stuff to come later this week... maybe. Im gonna go celebrate my brithday now. May stream later on, again at 6PM pacific, this time actual tanks and not remodeling.
Take care and see you on the battlefield, ~ Avalon304 Dreadnought now has an addon available for it. It adds the spaced armor from the upcoming British tier 8 premium, the Caernarvon Action X. Additionally Dreadnought now has a canvas covering for where the mantlet would be. This canvas covering is standard on the normal remodel as well.
Thats all for now! ~ Avalon304 |
