Hey guys! Its been about a week since my last updates and Ive been busy. Lets get the boring stuff out of the way: Ive migrated some more skins and remodels over to .wotmods format. This includes the entire Berlin Quartet (Cromwell B, T34-85 Rudy, IS-2 B and ISU-122S), the Black and Grey versions of the M 41 90 GF skin removal (Ive retired the Olive Drab version), the IS-7 with raised Machine Gun and the T26E1-1 Super Pershing. All are now available on the modhub. But there also a new remodel. Hit the read more button to see what it is. I'm quite proud of this remodel. It represents the first major structural change Ive ever made to a tank. Even Talisman's sideskirts dont compare to this. I present the M103A2 'War Hawk'. American Comfort shall reign supreme: Those screenshots above really dont do it justice, it looks much better in person (as it were).
The M103 was America's last heavy tank and the M103A2 was the final revision of it. It got a new engine from the M60 and a different range finder. And thats what this model aims to represent. The tank has the engine deck from the M48A5 (which is the same as the M60 its just that the M48's texture and model is better). And thats the major structural change to this tank, almost none of the rear portion of the hull exists anymore. It has been complerely replaced by the rear portion of the M48A5. The rest of the model (turret, gun and portions of the hull) are based on TheFalkonett's Random Acts of Stowage M103 remodel and have been distributed with his permission. Im super proud of this remodel in particular. And I hope I can keep improving. Thats about it for today. I think Im gonna stop talking about upcoming remodels... mostly because I cant ever decide on one thing too far in advance. The list is pretty much the same as last time anyway (277 and Firefly), but as you can see, this M103 pretty much came outta nowhere... so your guess is as good as mine as to what actually comes out next. I can tell you, however, that the next things to make the migration to .wotmod format will be the Patriot, Liberte, Defender, Classic T71 Restoration, and the M48A1 Patton Restoration. Maybe in a week even. Take care, and see you on the battlefield! ~ Avalon304
