Hey guys its been a while huh? ... Holy crap, 5 months? Yea... sorry about that. Remodling is just like any other creative process. If inspiration doesnt hit, it can be hard to come up with something. Rest assured Ive not been sitting ilde. Ive still been playing the game and just recently got the M60 from the most recent Clan Wars campaign. So thats nice.
Any way I need to inform you about update 1.6 and what it means for nearly every one of my mods:
Most of my mods, particularly anything that modifies an XML file for the tank will NOT work from the previous version. The major change to the customization system has caused Wargaming to make a pretty major change to the XMLs. Not to worry I am currently going through and updating all of my mods so they can function again. Im also taking this opportunity to make some minor changes to certain remodels. All these changes will be included in the change logs on WGMods.
Anyway thats it for now.
Take care guys and see you on the battlefield.]
Hey guys, this is gonna be a rather short post. Ive made updates to 3 remodels that will have changed in 1.4.1. The Comet, Tiger I and ISU-122S have all received support for the cosmetic paint system.
I know its been a while since a new remodel has come out from em, but to be honest all my ideas have turned out pretty bad, so its been hard to find somethign I consider worthy of release. Im still trying out various ideas, but Im not going to make a commitment to any particular tank or time frame on anythign right now.
Anyway, thats it for now. Take care guys!
With 1.4 just about to come out on NA, and the clan wars campaign finally over, Ive been busy getting several of my updates done that had been sitting on a list. Heres whats currently awaiting approval on the ModHub for 1.4:
- Ive fixed the MoE placement on the Caernarvon's 20pdr gun.
- Ive fixed the MoE placement on the T-44-100.
- Additionally Ive added support for the remaining 4 T-44-100 variants in the game files (B, R, Y and K).
- Ive fixed the MoE placement on the main gun of the ISU-130.
- Ive readded the crash model of the BL-10 to the ISU-152-2.
- Ive change the M103A2's engine exhaust from gas to diesel.
- Ive removed the frontal hull inscription from the M51 Super Sherman. I wanted to get it working properly, but right now it just wont work, so Im removing it until I can get it to work, or until I can add it somewhere else. If you have an inscription there, Id suggest removing it before installing this update.
For now that all the updates that actually have changes. Everything else should work in 1.4, but I'll be reuploading everything to the ModHub anyway, to update ther version numbers to version 1.4.
Its been a bit longer than a month... but whatever. It was a nice break. Im back at it now... and one of my first things is an update to a previous remodel. Those of you who have followed me for a while may know what it is.
Stalin's Fury has a new gun shroud (as well as a few fixed issues). Why did I revist it now? Because WGNA has finally put the ISU-130 up for sale, which means I finally own it. Take a look:
Nice owning that tank now. The barrel shroud looks pretty cool too. Had to remove some geometry from the hull to fix an issue with cosmetic paints, and I made the USSR national emblem the default, rather than the Moderator emblem. This was a nice way to easy back into the remodeling process, and Stalin's Might (the ISU-122S) will be receiving a similar update with a completely different gun model and the same barrel shroud.
After that I have a few more fixes lined up for a few tanks that you guys have pointed out to me over the past month (for the ISU-152, the M103A2, the Tiger II and the T-44-100). After those get fixed in the coming days Im going to be starting a brand new remodel for the T30.
Thats all for now.
By the time everyone reads this, most of the 1.3 updates should have been approved on WG mods. Everything has been uploaded and all of my mods are updated. Ive taken this time to retire 2 of them, the raised IS-7 machine gun and the T26E1-1 Super Pershing. Ive retired them just because I dont want to keep them updated. (Though eventually the IS-7 may return).
Anyway thats it for me until next month, when I'll be back to work on remodels and stuff. Enjoy your holidays and see you in the new year!
