Welp, managed to get the last new remodel done for this year.
The M54 has been such a nice tank since it came out... but I thought it needed more. So I added to it. A light, some extra dakka, a hat. And a raised engine deck, which I personally think looks better than the flat one.
As you all know however, the Renegade came with a unique style. That I didnt like at all, so for those of you who also dont like it, theres even a custom 3D style for this remodel, based partially upon the T57 and T110E4 new year styles.
That it for remodels this year. Next year will include more, Im sure. When the Devastator remodel is available on WGMods I'll put a link to it in this post and update its page on this site.
Take care everyone!
Its about an hour before Christmas here on the west coast of America and Ive got some more presents for you.
1 new-ish remodel and an update to an older remodel.
This is the Strv 81 'Lollo':
With the recent release of the unskinned Strv 81 Ive moved the old Mk. 5 Centurion remodel for the Primo Victoria over to it, and reskinned it back into a Swedish tank with proper support for paint and camo.
Since this tank has now been released (even in its limited capacity) this has also brought updates to the Primo Victoria version:
While its still skinned as a British tank, it now uses the Type A barrel fro the OQF 20pdr gun, and gains back its sideskirts (sorry the option to remove them is gone). If you like the old version I suggest you dont update.
Download it here: https://wgmods.net/1512/
So there they are, a new-ish remodel, and an old one updated slightly. Both of these are currently in review on WGMods, and their pages on this blog will be updated when they are approved (and I'll also put links to them both in this post).
Theres still one more remodel in the pipeline that is actually new (as in it isnt an update to an old one, nor does it use parts originally done for another remodel). Its for a recent heavy tank that was released. It will probably be out by the end of the week, or, at the latest, right for the new year.
Enjoy your holidays everyone!
I had originally wanted this post to have 2 remodels for you to download... but the 2nd one is taking a bit more time to finish... so theres only one here.
The Leopard 1 has always looked a little bare, and while the very talented Mirukii had imported a War Thunder model into WoT, I never did like how different it looked compared to the other WoT models in the game.
With his permission I used his model import to up armor WoTs default Leopard 1 model to the A1A1 standard. The armor is the only thing from War Thunder in this remodel, everything else from the gun, to the light to the machine guns ont he turret are all from other WoT tanks.
Its available now on the WG Mods portal:
My other remodel is for a recently released premium and will have somethign a bit more special so it may take a bit more time.
Take care guys and Merry Christmas.
Hey guys its been a while huh? ... Holy crap, 5 months? Yea... sorry about that. Remodling is just like any other creative process. If inspiration doesnt hit, it can be hard to come up with something. Rest assured Ive not been sitting ilde. Ive still been playing the game and just recently got the M60 from the most recent Clan Wars campaign. So thats nice.
Any way I need to inform you about update 1.6 and what it means for nearly every one of my mods:
Most of my mods, particularly anything that modifies an XML file for the tank will NOT work from the previous version. The major change to the customization system has caused Wargaming to make a pretty major change to the XMLs. Not to worry I am currently going through and updating all of my mods so they can function again. Im also taking this opportunity to make some minor changes to certain remodels. All these changes will be included in the change logs on WGMods.
Anyway thats it for now.
Take care guys and see you on the battlefield.]
Hey guys, this is gonna be a rather short post. Ive made updates to 3 remodels that will have changed in 1.4.1. The Comet, Tiger I and ISU-122S have all received support for the cosmetic paint system.
I know its been a while since a new remodel has come out from em, but to be honest all my ideas have turned out pretty bad, so its been hard to find somethign I consider worthy of release. Im still trying out various ideas, but Im not going to make a commitment to any particular tank or time frame on anythign right now.
Anyway, thats it for now. Take care guys!
