Hey guys, Avalon here.
Its that time again. Another new remodel is out. The FV221 Caernarvon Mk. 2 'Bullpup'. After the recent changes to the Caernarvon, I picked it up and found myself quite liking it. So I decided it really did need a better visual model and there were a few things I didnt like about the WG model. See what actually changed after the jump.

Hey guys, Avalon here. If you use Aslain's ModPack and also use my skins you'll now be able to get them in Aslain's ModPack. So dont freak out and thing theyve been stolen. Thats not the case, this is planned. Hes going to start adding them bit by bit in the coming days. If you dont use Aslain's ModPack: If you'd like to use Aslain's ModPack theres a link to his website up in the 'Other Things' menu in the navbar. Thats all. Just a quick update guys.
Take care. ~ Avalon304 So, if you were using the most recent version of Dreadnought that had been updated to support the 9.21 customization system you may have noticed that if you applied paint to the hull and then applied camo the camo completely overwrote the paint, or that if you applied a preset (like the Modern Christmas or Black Widow presets) that the transparent camo included with them did not show the underlying paint colour. I spent a week trying to diagnose this issue, and was about the make the recommendation that presets not be used and that transparent camo not be used. However in a last ditch attempt to fix the issue, Ive actually solved it: You'll notice that a few portions of the tank still dont have paint OR camo applied. This is how the system works now. When the tanks that those piece came from get updated to support the new paint system, Dreadnought will get updated to have those parts fixed. (If youre curious the parts that arent camo'd come from the Black Prince and Churchill III. Depending on how WG rolls this system out and when they get to tier 7 and tier 5 vehicles, it may be a short amount of time or a long amount of time until these are fixed).
So thats that. Ive solved a week long issue. Just getting back into the swing of things now. 'Bullpup' is coming up, as Im about to start it this week. It'll be one of my first remodels to support the variants feature in the game. Until then, take care guys and see you on the battlefield. ~ Avalon304 |
