Hey guys. Its been a while, eh? Yea, sorry about that. I got super burnt out on the game about 6 months ago and stopped playing. Luckily, for the most part, most of my stuff kept on working. However three of my remodels are in need of updates due to additions made to the tanks as a result of the Mirny-13 event:
Each of these three tanks has additional 3D styles added to them as a result of the Mirny-13 event last October. Previously, if you entered a battle with my remodels installed and another tanker had any of the new styles equipped your game would crash. Ive updated these 3 on WGMods so that will no longer happen. Once their current version reads 1.11.0-0 you can update the remodels so they will work properly. (If they dont for some reason please report any bugs on their respective pages). Ive also pushed an update live for Centurion Mk. 3 'Fireball', though I dont remember what the change was. But there was one... so.. same as above. Download the new update when the current version reason 1.11.0-0. The rest of my remodels still work, so just install them into the proper mods folder for the current World of Tanks version. This is generally how it works for every update. Unless something massive changes with how the game handles tanks, or new 3D styles are added to any tanks Ive remodeled the remodels will just continue to function, despite the version being outdated. Incrementing the version number on WGMods requires me to spend time reuploading the same file that you already have on your computer, and with nearly 30 remodels that takes quite a long time. So Im just going to stop bothering. I currently have several remodels in various states of completion, the ISU-152K among them. Dunno when, if ever, they'll see the light of day, but theres always a chance. ~ Avalon304

Due to changes in how the game works, I am retiring all of my permaskin removals effective immediately. Trying to play a game with any of these tanks will cause the game to lock up and not allow you to load into a battle. There currently doesnt appear to be any way for me to fix this and have the tanks appear "normal" with regular National emblems instead of anything applied by the perma skin.
Sorry, ~ Avalon304 Dont do it. If you are rehosting my remodels, please delist them from your site.
For everyone else, there are two ways to get my remodels: 1. Directly from wgmods.net or 2. Through Aslain's modpack, from www.aslain.com Thats it. If you get them anywhere else, Im not going to provide you with support. Period. Thanks. ~ Avalon304 So I realize I never posted this here. Well 5 months late it better than never I guess... This remodel started during the Winter-2019 CW campaign. I played a lot of the Chieftain during that campaign and, given that I was going to be seeing a lot of the tank, I really wanted it to look cool... so this is what I came up with: I originally wanted to swap the hull with the actual Chieftain hull, but the actual Chieftain hull is taller than the T95 hull, so the tanks visual model and collision model wouldnt have actually lined up. Still, with the usage of the older T95/Chieftain model and the proper application of some sideskirts, if you squint it sorta looks like a real Chieftain.
In addition to using the base T95/Chieftain model I added stuff from Renegade, the Char Futur 4, and several other tanks to give it a more kitted out look. It even has a hat. As for what Im working on... I just picked up the IS-3-II and Im really enjoying that tank, so Im tooling around with some ideas for that tank, and Im also looking to go back and touch up a few of my older remodels with some additions and model fixes. Until next time. Take care and see you on the battlefield. ~ Avalon304 Welp, managed to get the last new remodel done for this year. The M54 has been such a nice tank since it came out... but I thought it needed more. So I added to it. A light, some extra dakka, a hat. And a raised engine deck, which I personally think looks better than the flat one. As you all know however, the Renegade came with a unique style. That I didnt like at all, so for those of you who also dont like it, theres even a custom 3D style for this remodel, based partially upon the T57 and T110E4 new year styles. That it for remodels this year. Next year will include more, Im sure. When the Devastator remodel is available on WGMods I'll put a link to it in this post and update its page on this site.
Take care everyone! ~ Avalon304 |
